The program fee for the study abroad program to the Spain will typically cover:

Payment Plan

Except for the non-refundable $130 application and deposit fee which needs to be made to Santa Fe College at the Cashier’s Office, all payments for the Spain & Portugal tour are make directly to EF Tours.   Please meet with the International Education Coordinator, Anita Badhwar AND your faculty leaders for this program for approval before you set up an account with EF Tours.

How to Make a Payment:

To make your $130 payment, go to the Cashier's Office in the Northwest Campus. The Cashier's Office accepts payments in cash, by check and by credit card. You can make your payments on the phone. More info here.

Faculty Leaders:

Jorie Scholnik-Zaron

Jorie Scholnik-Zaron is an Associate Professor of Student Development Instruction. She has been travelling internationally since she studied abroad in Italy while pursuing a degree at the University of Florida. To date, she has traveled to Spain, England, France, Amsterdam, Belgium, Israel, Canada, China, Japan, Greece and Switzerland. Jorie won the Internationalizing the Curriculum Grant through Santa Fe College and accompanied the study abroad program to China, with a stop in Japan, to bring an intercultural perspective to her career classes. As a result of that grant, Jorie incorporated international business protocols into her class and students have learned the proper way to dress, dine, negotiate, and communicate with professionals from different cultures. She led the 2017 study abroad program to Japan.

Rimjhim Banerjee

Dr. Rimjhim Banerjee-Batist holds a Ed.D. in Human Resource Development wherein she studied international human resource management. Her research specialization is mentoring, and spans training, learning and career development in different countries. Dr. Banerjee-Batist has been awarded the Sustainability in Curriculum Award whereby her HRM students engage in course activities that familiarize them with the challenge of sustainability facing today’s companies. She loves to travel and travels internationally every year.
