ITALY - Summer 2019

The program fee for the study abroad program to Italy will typically cover:

Read through the Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy to understand payment expectations. This policy will accompany the Study Abroad Application form that you must fill out and sign to join a program.

Payment Plan

Except for the $130 non-refundable Santa Fe College application fee, all payments are to be made to EF Tours. 
Please meet with the International Education Coordinator, Anita Badhwar AND your faculty leaders for this program to obtain approval before you set up an account with EF Tours.  Please make sure to read and understand EF Tours' cancellation and return policy prior to signing up.

How to make a Payment:
To make your $130 payment, go to the Cashier's Office in the Northwest Campus. The Cashier's Office accepts payments in cash, by check and by credit card. You can make your payments on the phone. More info here.

If you are not able to make a payment according to the dates assigned by Santa Fe College's International Education Office, it may still be possible for you to join the program; however you will likely incur increased costs.

Faculty Leader

Claire Orenduff-Bartos
Claire Orenduff-Bartos holds a Ph.D. in the History of Art with a specialization in European Art and is thoroughly acquainted with the art and culture of Italy. She has taught Italian art from 2005.She has visited Italy three times and has visited the majority of the places listed on the itinerary. She led the 2017 study abroad program to Italy.

Nik Bajorek
Nik Bajorek holds a Master’s Degree in English with a focus on Postcolonial Literature, and is ABD on his Ph.D. in English, which is focused on Literature, Literary Theory, and Popular Culture. He has taught World Literature Courses, which encompass major works from Italy and focuses on their influence to the overall literary canon. He has visited Italy while on active duty in the U.S. Navy, and has traveled throughout Europe as part of his active military service.
